Terms of Service

1. Who We Are and What These Terms Cover

Monetane LLC (“Monetane,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) operates outdoor entertainment events and ticketed experiences in Texas. Monetane LLC is the legal entity behind our point-of-sale application and ticketing storefront.

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern:

• Ticket and product purchases made through our online storefront
• In-person purchases processed on iPads using our Monetane point-of-sale application, including purchases from vendors selling at our events
• Attendance at our events and use of our venues
• Any other interaction with our staff or systems in connection with a purchase

By purchasing a ticket or product from us, or by attending one of our events, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not purchase or attend.

These Terms are for consumers — ticket buyers and event attendees. If you are a business operating on the Monetane platform, your relationship with us is governed by the separate platform agreement published at monetane.com/terms, not by this document.

Our handling of your personal information is described in our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

2. Tickets and Admission

• A ticket grants one-time admission to the named event at its location, on any day the ticket is valid for, through the event’s last day, subject to these Terms and any rules posted at the venue.
• Tickets are checked in by QR code, and each QR code admits one person once. A ticket that has already been checked in cannot be used again unless venue staff say otherwise.
• Keep your QR code private until you use it. Anyone who presents your QR code first will be admitted on it — if you forward a ticket to a friend, you are giving them that admission.
• Tickets are valid only for the event purchased, on any day the ticket is valid for, and expire after the event’s last day. Expired tickets are void.
• We may refuse admission or require a guest to leave for conduct that endangers staff, other guests, or property, or that violates venue rules or law. No refund is owed in that case.
• Events are held outdoors and operate rain or shine. We may delay, interrupt, or cancel an event for weather or safety.

3. Age and Venue Rules

• Our events are family-friendly. Minors must be supervised by an accompanying adult at all times; you are responsible for the minors in your party.
• Some products or areas may be age-restricted. Where they are, we require valid government-issued photo ID, and staff may refuse a sale or entry they cannot verify.
• You must be an adult (18 or older) to purchase tickets online.
• Posted venue rules — including safety rules for physical activities such as mini golf, bumper boats, kayaks, or ice skating — are part of these Terms while you are at the venue.

4. Purchases and Payment

• All prices are in U.S. dollars. At our venues, payment is by card only — we do not accept cash.
• Payments are processed by Stripe (online and via card readers at our venues). We never see or store your full card number; see the Privacy Policy for details.
• Some purchases include clearly itemized service charges or fees. The total shown at checkout before you pay is the amount you will be charged.
• Tips are voluntary and optional. Round-up donations, where offered, are voluntary and go to the cause named on screen.
• You represent that you are authorized to use the payment card you present.

5. Refunds and Exchanges

• All sales are final. Tickets and products are non-refundable except as described in this section.
• If we cancel an event outright (not merely delay or interrupt it), we will offer holders of unused tickets for that event a refund or an exchange.
• Where a refund is required by applicable law, we will provide it.
• Otherwise, refunds are at our sole discretion. For in-person purchases (merchandise, food, beverages, and venue tickets), a discretionary refund is processed by our staff, requires manager approval, and may be unavailable at venues operating a no-refunds policy.
• Any refund we issue goes to the original payment card. We cannot refund to a different card or pay out in cash.
• A voluntary round-up donation is refunded only when the entire order it belongs to is refunded.
• A ticket that has already been checked in cannot be refunded.
• To request a refund after leaving a venue, or for an online purchase, contact support@monetane.com with your order number or receipt.

6. Chargebacks and Payment Disputes

If you believe a charge from us is wrong, please contact us at support@monetane.com before disputing the charge with your card issuer — most problems are fixable in one email, and a refund we issue reaches you faster than a dispute resolution. If you initiate a chargeback for a purchase you made and received, we may contest it with our transaction records (including check-in records showing a ticket was used), and we may decline future sales to a customer who has made a chargeback we reasonably believe to be fraudulent.

7. Assumption of Risk

Our events may include physical activities (for example, mini golf, bumper boats, kayaking, or ice skating) and outdoor conditions. You attend voluntarily and assume the ordinary risks of such activities and conditions. Supervise minors in your party at all times.

8. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

• Resell tickets commercially or use our brands without written permission
• Duplicate, forge, or manipulate tickets or QR codes
• Interfere with our point-of-sale systems, staff devices, or networks
• Violate posted venue rules or applicable law

We may void tickets obtained or used in violation of these Terms.

9. Intellectual Property

The Monetane app, our websites, and the Monetane brand, logos, and content are owned by Monetane LLC or its licensors. You receive no rights in them other than the limited right to attend the event(s) you purchased.

10. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

• Events, tickets, and products are provided “as is” to the fullest extent permitted by law.
• To the fullest extent permitted by Texas law, our total liability for any claim arising out of a purchase or event attendance is limited to the amount you paid us for the ticket or product giving rise to the claim.
• Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, including liability for gross negligence or willful misconduct.

11. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute that cannot be resolved informally will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Texas.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The version published at our storefront controls, and material changes apply only to purchases made after the change is posted. The “Last Updated” date above reflects the current version.

14. Optional Transactional Text Messages

By entering your mobile number and selecting the separate, unchecked SMS consent box on your order confirmation page, you agree to receive text messages from Monetane LLC about your tickets, receipts, and order updates. Select the box and press Save text preferences after your purchase to submit your choice. Message frequency varies based on your purchases and requests. Message and data rates may apply. This program does not include promotional texts. Consent is optional and is not a condition of purchase; you can leave the box unchecked and receive your online tickets by email.

At our events you can also ask for your receipt by text on the Monetane iPad after you pay. Enter your mobile number and tap Text Receipt. You will receive one text message from Monetane LLC with the receipt for that purchase; it does not sign you up for any other texts. Message and data rates may apply. Texting a receipt is optional and is not a condition of purchase; you can choose an email receipt or no receipt instead.

Reply STOP to unsubscribe. You may receive one confirmation of your opt-out, after which no further messages will be sent unless you opt in again. Reply HELP for assistance, or email support@monetane.com. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Provide only a number you own or are authorized to use, and let us know if it changes.

Mobile numbers, SMS opt-in data, and text messaging consent will not be sold, rented, or shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Information is disclosed only to service providers necessary for the messaging service, or as required by law. See our Privacy Policy. Newsletter preferences are separate from SMS consent.

Marketing texts are a separate program; see Section 15.

15. Marketing Text Messages (Event Texts)

Monetane LLC offers an optional marketing text program, Monetane Event Texts, with news about upcoming events, ticket releases, and offers. You can join by tapping Join Event Texts on a Monetane iPad after a purchase or at tickets.monetane.com/texts, or by checking the event-texts box on your order confirmation page. By joining, you agree to receive recurring automated marketing text messages from Monetane LLC at the mobile number you provide. After you join, we send one text confirming your subscription. Message frequency: up to 4 messages per month. Message and data rates may apply. Consent is not a condition of any purchase.

Reply STOP to any event text to cancel, or HELP for help. You can also opt out at tickets.monetane.com/texts or by emailing support@monetane.com; we honor opt-outs promptly and within 10 business days. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. The program is available to U.S. mobile numbers only. By joining, you confirm that you are the subscriber or regular user of the number you entered. After you reply STOP, you may receive one text confirming your opt-out. Event texts are sent from (855) 935-3857, a different number than the order texts in Section 14. Mobile numbers, SMS opt-in data, and text messaging consent will not be sold, rented, or shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. See our Privacy Policy.
